| Teaching The courses and lectures offered by ComNets contribute to the two main curricula of the aculty towards a Diplom Ingenieur degree in "Informations Engineering" and in "Computer Science Techniques" and also to the two master programmes in "Computer Engineering" and "Communication Engineering".
Lectures are offered periodically once per year and examined two times per year.The used notation e.g W(2 1 -) characterizes the event. W indicates the term winter semester, S means summer semester. The first entry stands for lecture and the number indicates the weekly hours (1 h = 45 minutes). The second entry stands for an excercise/tutorial and the third for a laboratory or an equivalent event. (2 1 -) means: This event is a 2 h lecture and is supplemented by an 1 h exercise. (- - 4) means: This is 4 h laboratory or an equivalent event (project, seminar).
