AixCom GmbH was a software company providing solutions for analysis, design, cost optimisation and performance evaluation of mobile and fixed networks. AixCom is based in Aachen, Germany and was established in January 1998 as a spin-off of the Department of Communication Networks of RWTH Aachen University
AixCom provided solutions for the most efficient use of mobile and fixed networks. The company has developed software tools, which drastically reduce the capital and operational expanditure of its customers' networks. AixCom tools optimize cost, end-to-end performance, and end-to-end quality of existing and forthcoming mobile networks, such as GSM incl. GPRS and EDGE, UMTS, WLAN (IEEE 802.11, HIPERLAN/2), and TETRA.
P3 Solutions was established in December 1999 as a spin-off of the Department of Communication Networks of Aachen University of Technology.
