Development and Performance Analysis of Quality of Service Protocols in the cellular IEEE 802.16 Network

Short Description

The thesis focus on the performace evaluation of the IEEE 802.16 network under mixed traffic classes like WWW, VoIP and IPTV. The goal is to develop Quality of Service (QoS) strategies to guarantee low delay for realtime services and fairness for heavy load services. The strategies are to be implemented in the Wireless Network Simulator (WNS), which has been implemented at the institute.
