Ingo Forkel erhielt den akademischen Grad Diplom-Ingenieur
Elektrotechnik von der RWTH Aachen im Juni 1999 (Kurzfassung der Diplomarbeit). Seit 1999 ist
er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für
Kommunikationsnetze an der RWTH Aachen angestellt, wo er sich mit der
Entwicklung und Simulation von Fest- und Mobilfunknetzen
beschäftigt. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen auf den Gebieten der
dynamische Kanalvergabe und adaptiven Verbindungssteuerung für TD/FDMA
und CDMA Systeme.
