This paper focuses on the Dedicated Short-Range Communications (DSRC) Standards in Europ e (CEN) and on world-wide international level (ISO) and Electronic Fee Collection (EFC) systems base d on these standards, with regard to: motorway operator and driver (user) requirements, physical com patibility of the DSRC equipment, DSRC standard conformance testing, and countries in which commerci al installations already exist / will exist in the near future.
