INTRODUCTION


Under this working point a completely decentralized self-organizing, channel-oriented, adhoc, multihop broadband (CHAMB) LAN is to be developed. The following research tasks are to be carried out:

Efficient procedures for the multiple access on radio channels with completely decentralized organization.

Analytical and simulative performance evaluation of the traffic performance in decentralized self-organising W-LAN with QoS guarantee.

Multiple access protocols for decentralized organizing W-LANs.

Performance comparison of different W-LAN systems.

Channel modelling and the bit error rate.

Connection admission control for decentralized organizing radio networks
